Why Enrichment Matters 

Enrichment is a core part of the Plympton Academy learning journey, not an optional extra. Taking part in clubs, activities and wider opportunities beyond the classroom builds confidence, character and a genuine sense of belonging — the very things that help students thrive both in school and beyond it.

In line with the DfE Enrichment Framework (June 2026), every student should have access to rich, structured enrichment activity that broadens their horizons, develops new skills and strengthens their cultural capital.

This booklet brings together the Term 1 and Term 2 clubs on offer, so students can find something new to try, and staff and families can see at a glance what's happening and when. Every activity a student attends can be logged in their Enrichment Passport, working towards a Bronze, Silver or Gold award across the year. Trying something unfamiliar, sticking with a challenge, or simply having fun with friends who share an interest — it all counts.
