Free Trees:

Students at Plympton Academy are rolling up their sleeves to help the environment by planting wildlife-friendly plants and trees.

A grant from the Devon Wildlife Trust is allowing us to grow a large number of wildflowers and build bat boxes.

We also have a small number of young trees that we are asking students to take home to plant in their gardens.  The trees, (about 50cm high at the moment) are silver birch, rowan and wild cherry and will make a marvellous addition to any garden.

Please let is know if you would like your child to collect a tree to bring home.  Planting guides are available on request from Mr Edmonds edmondsm@plympton.academy.  All we ask is that you send us a photograph of the tree being planted.
