Students and staff at Plympton Academy have raised £750 for Children In Need.

They raised the money by donating money not to wear uniform for the day. They also held a cake sale at break time and students paid 50p to watch a male versus female staff netball match. The male team won by 11 – 8.

“Everyone had fun taking part in the events,” said organiser, Ian Hartley. “We are delighted with the amount of money we have raised.”

Caroline McVicker (Head of Academic Progress Yr 10 & 11) and Richard Harvey (Maths and PE Teacher) take part in the netball match.
